Privacy Policy

Information we collect

When you use CPD Database, we collect:

• Account data: email address, display name (a nickname), and sign-in method (email/password or Google).
• Your CPD records: the CPD activities you enter, courses you bookmark, courses added to “My Calendar” and your reminder settings.
• Technical data: basic browsing/device information needed to keep you signed in and improve the service.

What we do NOT collect

We do not collect your real legal name or other sensitive personal data. The name, registration number and signature you enter in the CPD Record Form generator are processed only in your browser to produce the PDF — they are never uploaded to or stored on our servers.

How we use your data

• To provide and maintain the service (login, CPD tracking, bookmarks, calendar).
• To send the course reminder emails you have opted into.
• To improve the platform's features and content.

Third-party services

We use these trusted providers to process data:

• Supabase — database and member authentication (data stored in Singapore).
• Vercel — website hosting.
• Resend — sending email.
• Google — “Sign in with Google” (if you choose to use it) and Google Analytics for website traffic analysis.
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — Pixel, to measure and optimise advertising performance.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your language preference, and analytics/advertising cookies set by Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel (see the next section).

Analytics & advertising

We use Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel to collect anonymous usage data (such as which pages you view, where you arrived from, and whether you sign up) to understand traffic, improve the service, and measure and optimise our advertising. These tools may set cookies and record your device/browsing information. You can disable cookies in your browser settings or opt out via a browser extension.

Important: the name, registration number and signature you enter in the CPD Record Form generator and the self-study form are NOT part of this analytics data — they are processed only in your browser and are never sent to us or any third party.

Data storage & security

Your data is stored on Supabase (Singapore) and protected by access controls. We take reasonable measures to safeguard it, but no method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure.

Your rights

You may access, correct or delete your account data at any time. For help or to request account deletion, please contact us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
